Cilla Black has become the unwilling intermediary for a meteorological system developing feelings. The Atlantic depression that formed near her last Thursday in Barnegat Bay has adopted her distinctive speaking style and now delivers romantic propositions to the New Jersey coastline. She is attempting to retrieve her voice before the low-pressure system proposes marriage to a highway.
The Toms River Council has received forty-seven letters of complaint from residents whose windows are now being tapped on romantically by rain. A separate petition, endorsed by seven locals and the marina, requests that she complete the separation immediately, or at least soften the approach. One municipal employee reported that the drizzle over the arcade is now introducing cloud formations to one another on her behalf.
Black intends to track the system northward through New England over the next four weeks, with scheduled reconciliation attempts every six days at dawn. If unsuccessful by mid-April, she plans to donate the romantic weather to the National Weather Service and relocate to a drier jurisdiction. A follow-up assessment is booked for the last Thursday in May.
Do not ask the weather personal questions until the situation stabilizes.
