Bill Maher
Crisps 4, Monologue 1: Maher takes late lead from behind the salt and vinegar
- Location
- Inside a vending machine beside a Bangkok street food stall, row C, behind the crisps
- Currently
- Hosting a Friday panel show for four chocolate bars
- Last confirmed sighting
- Row C, slot 14, delivering a monologue to a coil
- Observations
- Can deliver a New Rule so sharp it re-sorts the machine by weight.
Bill Maher now lives in a vending machine outside a pad kra pao stall in Bangkok, behind the salt and vinegar crisps. He has a small desk made from a flattened Twix box and keeps a Friday schedule. The stall owner, who sells noodles, says he has not once asked for change.
He is currently developing a closing segment titled New Rules for Snack Machines, now at rule nine. Rule four, that nobody needs a second row of mints, was well received by the mints. The panel consists of a Wagon Wheel, two Snickers and a tiny pack of peanuts who keeps interrupting.
"I sell fried bananas, I don't have opinions," said Nok, a fried banana seller. "But around nine every Friday the glass fogs up and you can hear him say 'and that's the show' to the coil. Then the machine gives somebody a free Mars bar. Nobody complains."
Do not shake the machine; he will be mid-sentence and will not appreciate it.
