The constellation was noticed above a lay-by near a car boot sale outside Colchester. It has nine stars in the rough shape of a helmet with a small pram drifting beside it. It is visible only from the lay-by, and only if you stand by the tea van.
"I sell tea and bacon rolls there every Sunday," said Janet, a tea van operator. "A lorry driver looked up, said 'This is the way,' and took the correct exit for the first time in years. I'd call that a good result."
Items logged at the lay-by this month include one small green pram-shaped cloud, a flask left on a bench that hums quietly, and three lorries that now indicate before turning.
Look up from the lay-by only, and do not use the stars for parking.
