Career is only one metre to the left, which the Registry confirms is permanent until further notice
- Location
- One metre left of a marina car park in Croatia, beside a bollard
- Currently
- Shifting a modelling career sideways, one metre at a time
- Last confirmed sighting
- Posing beside a ticket machine, one metre from where the photographer aimed
- Observations
- Casts a shadow that arrives eleven minutes before she does and waits by the door.
Her career has been moved one metre to the left, and she is walking beside it in tailored coat and sunglasses to keep up. The runway, the magazine covers and the garden appearances now sit slightly off their marks. A marina attendant in Croatia noticed when the cameras kept missing her.
People keep asking whether she can simply step back. She can, but the career moves with her and arrives one metre left again. Asked whether the stilettos help, the Registry confirms they do, as the heel gives a clean pivot on gravel.
Nearby, photographers now set up one metre to the right of everything, and the marina car park has repainted two bays. The ticket machine has been turned slightly. A man selling ice cream says business is unchanged, though his queue now has a definite lean.
Please stand one metre to the right of her and photograph the gap.
