- Location

- Observations

Maya Jama is stationed at the Lakeside services car boot sale marshal post, tasked with maintaining order between pitches and keeping sellers within boundaries. Instead, she has become the primary entertainment, interviewing vendors about their wares with live-television energy and introducing every item as though it were competing in a Saturday-morning game show.
Monday 09:30, she arrived at pitch one with a cordless microphone (source unknown). By 11:00, she had conducted her first interview about a box of 1980s cassette tapes. Tuesday 14:15, she upgraded to a megaphone and began announcing approaching buyers like celebrity arrivals. Wednesday 10:00, marshalling protocol was abandoned entirely when she started doing "versus" segments between adjacent pitches.
This Saturday, she intends to host "Boot Sale Live" from 10:00 to sunset, with planned segments at pitches two, four and six. The following Sunday is blocked for what she describes as "a full season of rematches." Management has requested we flag the second weekend of June for review, though she has already scheduled it as "finals week."
Marshals should maintain pitch boundaries. Interviews are not compulsory attendance for sellers.
