Currently
Attempting to intercept her own sat-nav algorithm before it reaches commercial release
Last confirmed sighting
Thursday 14:07, heard giving turn instructions over Hammersmith Flyover
Observations
Her distinctive vocal inflection is now used to instruct drivers to turn left at high volume, no matter where they are heading.

Madonna's voice has been detected in the guidance operating system of a popular satellite navigation suite since early Monday. The system generates turn-by-turn instructions in her actual recorded cadence, complete with her trademark phrasing and rhythm. She is understood to be operating from an undisclosed location near the Stockvault Archive building, attempting to delete the files before they are pushed to seventeen million active devices.

The separation occurred on Monday 09:14 when a firewalled server backup was inadvertently merged with her vocal archive. By Tuesday 16:45, three hundred users reported hearing her voice directing them to turn left 'like a virgin'. Wednesday saw her post instructions to the test database; by Thursday 14:07, she was heard live on the Hammersmith Flyover before the transmission was cut. Friday morning, she filed a cease-and-desist with the software company, which was rejected as jurisdictionally unclear.

Direct appeals to the company's senior management have failed because they do not believe her. Legal action has proved slow; the court systems do not classify voice-data extraction as urgent. She attempted to corrupt the source files herself on Wednesday night, but the encryption defeated her. A proposed physical device replacement would require locating and replacing every installed unit, a task estimated to take eight months and cost twelve million pounds.
