He remains in Paris, lodged on the fifth floor of a residential building near Place des Vosges, where his presence has become a reliable fixture of the late-night hours. Neighbours report consistent sounds of desk-tapping and laughter between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.

He is currently organising a comprehensive archive of his monologues by season and guest appearance, a task he approaches with the rigour of a curator. The work is progressing slowly; he insists on reading each one aloud, and has become distracted by the comedic potential of his own earlier material. Progress reports suggest he has so far catalogued only March through May of a single year.

Recent inspections of his hallway workspace have yielded three items: a stack of blue index cards annotated in black ink, a battery-powered microphone apparently used to test delivery acoustics in the stairwell, and a framed photograph of an empty talk-show stage set.
