Ms. Winkleman became interwoven into Oxford Bus Company's printed timetables during routine updates on Friday. The 14C service now lists her observations between stops, describing passenger choreography with the specificity she applies to television. She has remained lodged there since, unable to extract herself from the route structure.
Attempts to remove her have failed consistently. Manual extraction from the master document resulted only in her reappearing in the digital version; automated systems rejected her as corrupted data. Oxford Bus Company's IT team reported that removing her caused the entire timetable to lose temporal coherence, so they have left her in place for now.
No, she cannot drive the buses. Yes, she knows the actual driver cannot see her. She has asked repeatedly whether this counts as appearing on television, and the company has declined to answer. Passengers are advised to allow extra time for her commentary, which has made every journey three minutes longer.
Check timetables carefully: journey times have become considerably more observational.
