Brian Cox (actor) Actor

FRANCHISED INTO THREE, STILL GESTURING

Correction: Three operational Cox units now confirmed in service across southern France.

Existence confidence provisional
A generated photo of an anonymous stranger. It is not the person named.
Brian Cox holds a very large cabbage aloft on a Santa Monica pier, beaming with the concentration of someone explaining why it is essentially made of stardust.
Location
A petrol station forecourt near Issoire, plus two satellite facilities in converted dairy barns.
Currently
Running a three-branch petrol station franchise, explaining quantum mechanics to confused drivers.
Last confirmed sighting
Issoire Cox attending to pumps; Brioude Cox calibrating the till; Le Puy Cox explaining expansion ratios to bewildered customers.
Observations
Each Cox unit calculates tyre pressures using only particle decay rates and refuses digital tools.

Brian Cox has consolidated into three distinct, fully operational franchises serving rural Auvergne. The Issoire location opened in March; Brioude and Le Puy followed by June. Each Cox appears to operate independently, though all three continue to explain the same scientific principles to bewildered customers pumping unleaded.

Physicists remain divided on whether this constitutes replication, delegation or a fundamental misunderstanding of how matter works. The Brioude Cox insists the three units are quantum entangled; the Issoire Cox disputes this entirely; the Le Puy Cox has stopped answering emails about it.

The regional council has received seventeen complaints about hand gestures obstructing the till display and forty-three letters of appreciation for improved understanding of fuel composition. One commuter wrote to praise the thoroughness of explanations; another demanded a 'fast-checkout Cox' option for customers not interested in particle physics during their fill-up.

Guidance for the public

Customers should confirm which Cox they are addressing before requesting fuel recommendations.
