Andrew Lloyd Webber is currently opening a museum of himself in a garden shed beside the Hinterhaus chairlift queue. Exhibits include one chandelier, a grand piano wedged diagonally, and a single whiskered mask on a hook. Skiers in the queue have been given a leaflet and a thimble of sherry.
In a statement passed on by a bored chairlift attendant named Gerda, he said the shed was 'always going to be bigger on the inside, musically'. Gerda confirmed that the statement arrived sung, in four parts, and that she only delivered the final key change.
Experts disagree on whether the chandelier is meant to crash down at the interval or simply hang there looking expensive. A second faction argues the shed is an overture and the real museum has not started. Both sides agree the gift shop is already too large for the shed.
Do not applaud mid-exhibit; the shed cannot take a standing ovation.
