Mike Tyson
"He turned up in the stockroom just as I was telling him to leave" — Gerald, forklift operator
- Location
- Loading bay 14, a wholesale warehouse in Singapore, four minutes before the van
- Currently
- Arriving early for a first round that ends before it began
- Last confirmed sighting
- Leaving a pallet of tinned lychees he has not yet reached
- Observations
- Is legally the opening bell of a fight in Rutland, ringing twice on Thursdays.
Mike Tyson now arrives at every location a few minutes before he leaves it, usually while his knockout has already landed. Staff at a wholesale warehouse in Singapore have stopped asking who ordered the pigeon feed, as it is gone before it arrives.
His statement was passed on by Doreen, a ferry ticket inspector who sat beside him for what he called 'about nine minutes, both directions'. 'He said the first round always ends before he gets there, and he finds that fair,' she said. 'He asked me to say sorry to the pigeons.'
'I was stacking sacks of rice when the fight was already over,' said Raj, a night-shift stacker. 'Then he came in the door, looking for the exit. He said, 'Nobody ever sees me coming,' and he was right, because I'd seen him go.'
Do not queue behind him; he will already have reached the front.
