Katie Price has taken a job as attendant of a small car park near a Lisbon tram stop. She wears a hi-vis vest in a shade the supplier insists does not exist. Drivers report that the ticket machine now prints in pink and sometimes in glitter.
Monday 8am: barrier painted pink. Tuesday 11.15am: a horsebox entered bay 6 and has not been asked to leave. Wednesday 2pm: a pony appeared in the ticket booth, unexplained. Friday 9.30am: a new pink Range Rover logged as a permanent resident.
The local council has received eleven complaints, mostly about the pink lines and a pony in bay 9. It has also received nine compliments, three of which asked for a signed copy of Perfect Ponies. One resident has asked whether the attendant would release a single.
Please do not park in bay 14 unless you are prepared to be glamorous.
