Davina McCall exists solely on Tuesdays, arriving at 00:01 in a Cape Town back garden already mid-sentence. She greets whatever is nearest with a hug and a cheerful announcement of who is leaving tonight. At 23:59 she stops, mid-hug, and is simply not there.
Residents have found three things: a trampled lawn in a perfect circle of lunges, a wheelie bin that has been told it is nominated, and a garden gnome that now holds a tiny envelope with a verdict inside.
On Tuesday at 00:01 she appeared and ran a workout for eleven snails. On Wednesday at 09:00 only a glowing yoga mat remained, still warm. Thursday through Monday produced nothing but a faint cry of 'Come on, you can do it' from the compost.
Do not schedule anything for Wednesday through Monday; she will not be in to be nominated.
