Kelly Clarkson is now an echo in a multi-storey car park in Frankfurt, returning any sound made on Level 4 at full chorus volume. Attendant Heike first noticed when a dropped car key came back as a bridge and final chorus. Her voice arrives a half-second late and always a key higher.

Acoustic engineers disagree about the cause. One camp blames the concrete ramps, while another insists the echo only works if the horn is pressed during 'Since U Been Gone'. Everyone agrees that shouting 'Stronger' at the exit barrier produces a noticeably better result than saying nothing.

Daytime echo sessions run Monday to Friday, with a special Kellyoke afternoon on the first Saturday of each month, when drivers may request any cover song. A spring run on Level 5 begins in April, subject to resurfacing. A final key change is planned for the roof, weather permitting.
