Jude Law is present from 6am to midnight every Tuesday, usually near the compost bays of a Brunswick community garden. He is smartly dressed, speaks directly to a spot over your shoulder, and asks whether you know what it's all about. On Wednesday there is only a neatly folded bowler hat.

The next Tuesday appearances are scheduled for the 3rd, 10th and 17th, with a possible bonus Tuesday if the calendar slips. Doors open at dawn, and he will be introducing the runner beans. A winter season in a Dunedin laundrette is under discussion, subject to Tuesdays.

Experts disagree on where he spends the other six days. One camp holds that he is in the Baker Street of an alternate Wednesday, helping a doctor with his notes. Another maintains he is simply between takes, and that the gap is only very long.

Do not ask him what it's all about before Tuesday, as he will only look at the camera.
