Danny Dyer
Danny Dyer sorted into second-class post, delivery estimated within the week, give or take
- Location
- Sorting office behind the Queen Vic, Walford, Albert Square
- Currently
- Parcel with a fragile sticker, telling the sorters 'you're having a laugh'
- Last confirmed sighting
- Fed through a letterbox on Bow Road, muttering 'mug'
- Observations
- Can be heard calling the franking machine 'mate' from three postcodes away, in a cockney only parcels understand.
Danny Dyer was posted second class from a pub on Albert Square and is now somewhere in the national postal system. He is wrapped in brown paper and a stern Mick Carter expression. Brenda at the depot says he tells every conveyor belt it is having a laugh.
The local council has received 41 complaints and 12 compliments. Complaints mostly concern a parcel addressing the van as 'bruv' at 5am, while compliments praise the unusually well-pulled pint he pulled from a sack of catalogues. Councillor Dougie Pratt calls it 'a lot of geezer for a Tuesday'.
Delivery is expected between Thursday and the following Wednesday, with stops at Romford, Dagenham and a sorting depot in Crewe. A signed-for attempt is planned on the 14th, though nobody will be in, as ever. Anyone expecting him should leave a safe place by the Vic.
Do not sign for him unless you own a pub and a very strong opinion.
