She is now a minor weather system covering most of south Finland, with a regional forecast issued at 06:00 and 18:00. Visibility is described as flattering. Showers are brief, beige and arrive at arm's length.

"I was emptying the book return when it went dim and then suddenly very well lit," said Aino, a library shelver. "A cloud lowered itself to about head height, tilted slightly, and took a picture of me. I looked good, to be fair. Then it moved on towards Espoo."

Meteorologists disagree on whether the system is a high-pressure ridge or simply a very good angle. One camp holds that the glow is caused by ring-shaped cumulus. The other says it is deliberate, and that the front only ever turns left to find better light.
