The shouting, seasoning and general disappointment Gordon Ramsay is known for have drained out of him and into a vending machine outside a leisure centre. Customers pressing B4 now receive a crisp packet and a verdict. The machine has refused to dispense anything it considers underdone.
"I put in a pound for a Twix and it called me a donkey," said Dennis, a bus driver on his break. "Then it gave me two Twixes, very gently plated. I've never felt so looked after or so ashamed."
Ramsay is currently trying to get his temper back by feeding the machine exact change and asking politely. Progress is poor: the machine keeps sending out risotto, and every attempt to reclaim the shouting ends with it saying "Finally, some seasoning."
Do not insert coins while upset; the machine takes it personally and will plate it.
