Elon Musk
"I am aware of the finish," says a stainless steel bollard, speaking on his behalf
- Location
- Level 4 of a multi-storey car park in Frankfurt, bay 112, under a strip light
- Currently
- Brushed steel grey, awaiting a second coat of Starship
- Last confirmed sighting
- Wednesday, 3:14 a.m., on a Cybertruck-shaped patch of wall
- Observations
- Can be sanded down to a smaller Elon using only a firm pad and optimism.
Elon Musk is now a colour, available in matt and silk. The shade resembles brushed stainless steel with a faint hint of rocket exhaust. A tin of it was discovered on a shelf in the car park's maintenance cupboard, humming gently.
"I was only meant to repaint the barrier arm," said Ingrid, a car park attendant. "Then the tin said something about tunnels and the lid kept coming off. The matt dries in forty minutes, the silk in about four hours, and it posts at night."
Drivers on Level 4 now park only in bays marked with angular, triangular lines, and nobody can find the ticket machine, which has gone a matching shade. Staff say the stairwell echoes with the sound of a booster landing upright. The lift has been renamed Starship and takes only one passenger at a time.
Do not stir the tin; allow the colour to settle overnight before opening Starship.
