Aaron Rodgers
"He's been going round since the 8:14, and he still checks both sides before every throw" — Gita, ticket inspector
- Location
- Revolving door of a Mumbai commuter station concourse, between platform two and the chai stall
- Currently
- Reading the defence from a revolving door, calling audibles
- Last confirmed sighting
- Mid-rotation, third lap past the left-luggage window, shouting a hard count
- Observations
- Can throw a spiral so tight that the rotation of the door becomes slightly jealous.
Aaron Rodgers now lives in a revolving door at a busy station outside Mumbai, going round at a steady walking pace. He carries on his working life from inside, scanning each quarter-turn as if it were a defensive look. Commuters report he calls a hard count at every complete revolution.
"I sell newspapers by the door, and he throws a rolled-up one through the gap to me each lap, perfect spiral, never misses," said Anil, newsstand vendor. "Last Thursday he shouted 'R-E-L-A-X' at a man who was late for the 9:02, and the man did relax. He still missed the train."
Experts disagree about whether the door is in the pocket or the pocket is the door. Footwork specialists argue his rotation is a deliberate scramble drill, while engineers insist the door simply wants a quarterback. Nobody has proved he can leave by the exit, and he has not asked.
Please use the side entrance and do not stand in the pocket.
